Ok, despite what my journal looks like, I'm not *completely* Homestar Runner obsessed. I mean, The Cheat, Strong Bad - what better a theme? Anyway! My name is Melanie (friends call me Mellie amongst other favorable and unfavorable things). I'm a writer ~ who isn't these days? I have one fantasy novel published from when I was just out of high school. I'm also a wiccan witch who started a witchcraft 101 website with lessons and all that good stuff. I've been a bard in circle and have shortly reigned as HPS too. I am fascinated by the far eastern philosophies, religions and culture as well. I study buddhism, taoism, and hinduism and have incorporated a lot of lifestyle changes to meet them in this western world. I am a lapsed yogini (and as one naive friend asked me, no that has nothing to do with yogurt or with cartoon bears). Otherwise, I'm a fan of music, collecting musical instruments and playing them perfectly without much effort. lol Well, that's way too much here so I'll just let my typing dim ini s h .
